Duolingo: the number of people who want to learn Ukrainian in the world has grown by 577%
CEO of language learning platform Duolingo Louis Von Ahn (Luis von Ahn) shared some interesting statistics.

According to Fon Ahn, the number of people wishing to learn Ukrainian has increased by 577%. Most of the students are now in the USA. Their number has increased by 554% since the beginning of the war. The Ukrainian language peaked in the US on February 28 and has held the position ever since. The largest increase in the number of Ukrainian language learners was recorded in Poland - 2677% since the beginning of the Russian aggression.
Duolingo explained this popularity of the language with a large number of refugees in Europe. As for the United States, in this way residents express their solidarity with Ukraine. By the way, the Ukrainian language in Duolingo appeared in 2015. The course was launched together with Peace Corps volunteers.
