HTC will launch new Viverse smartphone on June 28

It's been a long time since HTC last released a phone, and it's even longer since it had a flagship product. That may change as the firm is set to hold a launch event on June 28, when we'll finally see a new HTC smartphone. According To Recent Buzz, HTC's upcoming smartphone will prioritize VR and AR with deep integration to the company's open-source metaverse platform, Viveverse. The device was intended to debut in April but was delayed by supply chain issues.

There's not much else known about the forthcoming HTC smartphone except that it will integrate with the Vive Flow VR headset and may include AR app support, according to reports. To offer the new smartphone in their product lines, HTC has allegedly partnered with Taiwan Mobile, Chunghwa Telecom, and FarEasTone.
