Members of the territorial defense destroyed a Russian Mi-35M helicopter using the Igla man-portable anti-aircraft missile system.
The "Iron Bird" was shot down in the Donetsk region by soldiers of the 231st Dnepropetrovsk battalion of the Troop. The helicopter was monitored from the observation point. The aircraft tried to protect itself from missiles by flying at low altitudes, but this did not save it.
After a precise hit, the Russian helicopter caught fire, flew several tens of meters, after which it fell and exploded in the middle of the field. It is assumed that none of the crew members survived.
