OPPO Watch 3 to be unveiled in August: it will be the first smartwatch with Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip

OPPO is preparing to announce a new smart watch.

What is known

The company's representative Franco Li (Franco Li) told about it. The gadget will be called OPPO Watch 3 and will be announced at an event in August. Li also confirmed, it will be the first watch on the market with the new processor Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 on board. However, it is still unknown what model we are talking about: regular or Plus. 

Recall, the chips differ in the AON coprocessor. It is present only in the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 version and is responsible for energy saving functions. The rest of the SoC specifications are identical. They got four Cortex A53 cores, one Cortex M55 core, A702 graphics clocked at 1 GHz, LPDDR4 memory support and a new U55 block, which is responsible for machine learning.
