Everyone can now send Twitter Spaces videos to their iOS and Android devices
On iOS and Android, Twitter is introducing a new capability that allows you to extract a tiny audio sample from a Twitter Space. Anyone in a Space may now create a clip that expires after 30 days. Despite the fact that the function isn't accessible right now to Twitter web users, the company claims it will be "soon."
Clips are built to make content from Twitter's live audio feature more easily shareable on the site by offering the finest portions of an audio stream without forcing listeners to listen through it all.
The feature's wide deployment comes after a limited test that began in March. Only a few people were able to clip a Space at the time, and even then it was only available to the hosts of a Space rather than any participants. Now that listeners have access to the capability, which is certain to outnumber hosts by a large margin, we'll undoubtedly start seeing a lot more viral Spaces clips on Twitter.

The latest company to add support for clips is Twitter, which hopes that people will post more material on its platform by making it easier for them to share information. The most popular example of this is Twitch clips, although Amazon also permits users to share clips from some of its programs on Prime Video, and YouTube has offered similar functionality in the past. With so much free content available to watch on various platforms, these kinds of trailers are a useful teaser without requiring you to commit to watching a lengthy video or live stream.
