OnePlus begins closed beta testing of OxygenOS 13 on OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro: the company is looking for applicants and promises them a reward

OxygenOS 13 powered by Android 13 was unveiled by OnePlus last week, and a few days ago it released the first open beta version of OxygenOS 13 for the OnePlus 10 Pro. And soon the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones will receive the update.

What we know

OnePlus has announced the start of the closed beta testing of OxygenOS 13 on OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro and is looking for testers to do so. They will be the first to get the beta firmware and help the brand improve the software experience.

The company needs 200 users in total. Because it's a closed-ended program, people must sign a nondisclosure agreement. But they will reward the most active testers (no one knows what kind). But please keep in mind that the beta version is not stable and is still under development, so it might contain bugs and errors.

Unfortunately, the testing is only being done in India. But the company says it will be a short-term project, so the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will also get a stable version of OxygenOS 13 soon.
