Germany handed over 24 Gepard anti-aircraft guns to the AFU, they can destroy planes, helicopters and UAVs at an altitude of up to 3 km
Germany continues to supply Ukraine with Gepard self-propelled air defense systems to strengthen its air defense system.

The information appeared on the government website of the Federal Republic of Germany. Ukraine received additional four units. In total there are now 24 of them in service with the AFU, but there will be more - 30 units.
Flashback
The Gepard is an anti-aircraft self-propelled machine gun manufactured by the German company Krauss-Maffei. It is designed to cover the ground troops, destroy air targets at an inclined range of 100 m to 4 km and at altitudes up to 3 km flying at a speed of 350-400 m/s, as well as ground and surface targets at a range of up to 4500 meters. The SAM is built on the chassis of the Leopard tank.
