Germany will send an additional batch of MARS II multiple rocket launchers and Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine
During another meeting in the Ramstein format, Germany announced that it would send an additional shipment of weapons to Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
The question is about MARS II multiple rocket launchers (analogue of M270 MLRS) and Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery units. The corresponding message appeared in Twitter on the official page of the Ministry of Defense of Germany. The equipment will arrive in Ukraine within a few weeks.
Treffen im Ramstein-Format zu einem besonderen Zeitpunkt: ???????? Raketenangriffe & Teilmobilmachung, Scheinreferenden, ???????? Gegenoffensive. Wir koordinieren unsere kontinuierliche Unterstützung. In den nächsten Wochen werden weitere #PzH2000 und #MARSII an die #Ukraine übergeben. pic.twitter.com/BMDD7l6Bbf

Note that Germany announced in September that four Panzerhaubitze 2000s were being prepared for shipment to Ukraine, but there have been no reports of delivery yet. It is possible that these four howitzers were mentioned at the Ramstein meeting. In this case, the Ukrainian army will have 22 Panzerhaubitze 2000s in service - 14 from Germany and 8 from the Netherlands.
As for MARS II, there is currently no information on how many systems Germany wants to transfer this time. Ukraine has received a total of five MARS IIs. The last two multiple rocket launchers were delivered in September along with a shipment of Dingo ATF armored vehicles.
