Microsoft unveiled Designer, an application to create images from text using the DALL-E neural network
Surface Laptop 5, Surface Studio 2+ and Surface Pro 9 were not the only new products Microsoft announced at the fall presentation. The company introduced an app that can create images.
Here's What We Know
The software is called Designer. It knows how to create graphic images using a text description. The app is powered by artificial intelligence. Designer uses two models of text-to-picture conversion with deep learning: Stable Diffusion and DALL-E.
According to the developers' idea, the software will be used to create logos, postcards and illustrations in PowerPoint. Users can now apply to test Designer. In the future, the application will be available for free, but Microsoft will develop a more nimble version of Designer for Microsoft 365 customers.
