Samsung Wallet appeared in 13 new countries
This summer, Samsung launched the Samsung Wallet mobile wallet to compete with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Four months later, the number of countries where the service is available has increased from 6 to 19.
Here's What We Know
At the time of the launch, only residents of the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Great Britain could use the services of Samsung Wallet. Today, the South Korean company has announced the launch of the wallet in 13 more countries:
- Bahrain
- Vietnam
- Denmark
- Kazakhstan
- Qatar
- Kuwait
- Norway
- UAE
- Oman
- Finland
- Switzerland
- Sweden
- South Africa
The platform allows you to store bank cards, car keys and vaccination records. Jini Han, head of the Digital Life team at Samsung's mobile division, said the South Korean company is focused on bringing Samsung Wallet to as many markets as possible in the shortest possible time.
