Ukraine will receive from Italy six Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers, two M270 MLRS missile systems and M113 armored personnel carriers

Italy will send to Ukraine not only upgraded M109L self-propelled artillery units.

Along with the howitzers on tracked chassis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive two multiple launch rocket systems. Probably it is about the M270 MLRS, which can use the GMLRS guided missiles. The Italian army has 22 systems on its books. Previously Ukraine received M270 MLRS only from Great Britain and Germany (MARS II).

In addition, Italy will transfer six Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Thus, the total number of German howitzers will increase to 28 units. Ukraine will also receive M113 armored personnel carriers, but the number is not specified.
