This was reported by the speaker of the Air Force of the AFU Yuri Ignat, writes the newspaper ҐRUNT. Most likely, we are talking about the X-101/X-555 cruise missiles that Great job! Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 44 of 50 Russian X-101/X-555 cruise missiles in two hours, fired from Tu-95 and Tu-160 aircraft on one of the regions of the country.

IRIS-T is a medium-range surface-to-air missile system. It was developed by the German company Diehl Defense in 2014. The system is designed to destroy aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise and ballistic missiles. IRIS-T is considered one of the most modern air defense systems.
By the way, Ukraine received the first IRIS-T system a couple of weeks ago. By the end of this year we will receive another one. At the beginning of 2023, two more systems will be supplied to the AFU.
