Japanese manufacturer SEGA a couple of months ago announced on the native market Mega Drive Mini 2 (aka Drive Mini 2 aka Genesis Mini 2), and now introduced the novelty in other countries.
Here's What We Know
The device debuted in North America and Europe. Sales of the retroconsole should start at the end of November. The novelty will be available on Amazon. There is no price yet.
SEGA Mega Drive Mini 2 is visually similar to the 1994 device. At the same time, the novelty has modern ports (USB Type-A, micro USB, HDMI) and 60 pre-installed 16-bit games. The list of games differs depending on the country. The gadget comes with one joystick. Unfortunately, SEGA Mega Drive Mini 2 does not support the cartridges from the old console.
