Lithuania will buy a new batch of HIMARS multiple rocket launchers from Lockheed Martin.
Here's What We Know
Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas said. The US has already approved the deal. The contract is for $495,000,000. Lithuania will use this money to buy eight HIMARS, as well as spare parts and equipment for their maintenance. There is no time frame for contract implementation.

Flashback
HIMARS is the American Multiple Rocket Launcher System. It is based on the U.S. Army's FMTV five-ton wheeled chassis. HIMARS can carry six rockets or one ATACMS tactical ballistic missile. The HIMARS M142 has a range of 2 to 500 km (depending on the projectiles).
