Apple has acknowledged the problem with streaks on iPhone 14 Pro screens and is already working on a fix

Last month we wrote about problems with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphones: users complained about flashing random bands of green and yellow that appear when turning on or unlocking the device and disappear after a few seconds. Apple has now acknowledged the problem and allayed fears that it was due to a hardware defect.

Here's What We Know

The company said in a memo that it is already working on an iOS update that should fix the problem.

"iPhone 14 Pro‌ customers may report that when they power on or unlock their phone, they briefly see horizontal lines flash across the screen. Apple is aware of the issue and a software update is coming soon that will resolve the issue".

Right now, iOS 16.3 is being tested with developers and members of the public beta program, but this update is not expected to be released for at least a few more weeks. Apple will likely release iOS 16.2.1 soon to fix this and other bugs.
