French Defense Minister tells when Ukraine will receive AMX-10RC wheeled tanks

The French Minister of Defense, during his broadcast on France 5 TV channel, told when Ukraine would receive AMX10-RC wheeled tanks.

When We Can Expect It

According to Sebastien Lecornu, the first deliveries of armored vehicles will begin in early February. Unfortunately, Lecornu did not disclose the number of AMX10-RCs for security reasons. By the way, as of 2016, France has 248 such combat vehicles.

The AMX-10 RC is a French armored combat vehicle manufactured by GIAT. The AMX-10 RC is armed with a 105mm tank cannon that can hit targets up to 2 km away. The tank also has a 6×6 wheel configuration and boasts a hydro-pneumatic suspension system with variable ground clearance and tilt. Thanks to this the fighting vehicle is able to hide in difficult terrain. The AMX-10 RC has been in service in France since 1981. The tank took part in operations in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and the Sahel.
