Conor McGregor spoofs Steve Jobs and Apple presentation while promoting Irish whisky
Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor is not only interested in sports. In case you didn't know, he also owns the whisky brand Proper Twelve. The other day Conor released an amusing advertisement for the whisky, which is very reminiscent of Apple presentations.
Here's What We've Seen
In a new commercial for Irish whisky Proper No. Twelve, McGregor echoes the image of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, whose performances are still remembered by fans of the brand. Conor wore the famous black turtleneck and round-rimmed glasses.
McGregor began his "performance" by saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, every now and then a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything." He went on to talk about Irish apple flavoured whisky. There was applause from the fake crowd clapping in the background during the 'presentation'.
On social media, the athlete added the phrase Drink Different to the video, a reference to Apple's famous slogan Think Different.
