Brilliant Labs has developed a compact device that can turn any pair of glasses into smart glasses.

It is a small round device that can be attached to any pair of glasses and programmed to display almost any information, as it has open-source software.
The Brilliant Monocle has a colour OLED display with a resolution of 640×400 pixels and a field of view of 20 degrees. It also has a microphone, built-in touch buttons, a 5-megapixel camera that can shoot 720p video, and 8MB of flash memory.
The Monocle comes with a MycoPython-based operating system and supports Bluetooth 5.2 to connect to a phone or other device using the Brilliant mobile app for iOS and Android.
The 70mAh battery provides up to 2 hours of battery life and the 450mAh battery case provides another 6 full charges.
