Apple continues to support its wireless earbuds with a new version of software for them.
Here's What We Know
The update has been released with build number 5E133 and has been announced for the AirPods, AirPods Max as well as the AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro 2. Unfortunately, Apple hasn't revealed the list of changes yet. We can only assume that the developers have fixed bugs in the system and worked on software optimization.
When We Can Expect It
The system is already being distributed to devices in waves. To update the firmware on the earphones you have to put them in a case and connect them to your iPhone or Mac. After that, the OTA update will automatically "fly" to the device.
