BAYKAR unveils Kemankes cruise missile for Bayraktar Akinci, Bayraktar TB2 and Bayraktar TB3 with a range of over 200km
Turkish company BAYKAR has announced its new development, the Kemankes cruise missile.

The missile was unveiled at Teknofest 2023, currently taking place in Istanbul. The Kemankes boasts an AI-enabled optical guidance system. It is responsible for detecting, identifying and targeting the final leg of the flight.

The missile weighs 30kg (6kg payload) and is 1.73m long. It has a claimed cruising speed of 360 km/h (Mach 0.3) and a maximum speed of 720 km/h (Mach 0.7). The novelty is capable of hitting targets at a distance of over 200 km.
The Kemankes cruise missile will be carried by Bayraktar Akinci, Bayraktar TB2 and Bayraktar TB3 drones.
