Ukrainian Armed Forces start using Romanian APR-40 multiple rocket launchers
Ukrainian artillerymen have received Romanian APR-40 multiple rocket launchers.
Here's What We Know
A video of the units in the hands of the AFU was published on Twitter. No one had previously reported the transfer of such systems. It is also unknown how many MLRSs Ukraine received. At least 4 launchers can be seen in the video.

Flashback
The APR-40 is a licensed copy of the Soviet 122mm BM-21 Grad MLRS. The Romanian company Aerostar S.A. is manufacturing the system. The APR-40 is equipped with 40 unguided rockets. They can hit targets at ranges up to 20 km. The MLRS is based on a DAC 665T chassis with 6×6 wheel configuration.
