ARQUIMEA wants to deliver Q-SLAM-40 kamikaze drones to Ukraine

Spanish company Arquimea has a desire to supply Ukraine with Q-SLAM-40 bomber ammunition. The drone was shown in Spain at the FEINDEF-2023 exhibition.

In addition to the bomber munition, the complex includes a launcher and a control station. According to the manufacturer, it takes only 5 minutes to deploy the system.

Q-SLAM-40 can operate in the absence of a GPS signal in manned flight mode. The bomber is equipped with a silent engine, making it difficult to detect and identify.

The Q-SLAM-40 has an electric propulsion system. The engine is mounted aft of the aircraft. It is also equipped with a camera that can transmit real-time images.

Cruise range is 10 km and flight time is up to 12 minutes. It is important to note that the operator maintains control of the Q-SLAM-40. As for the warhead, it consists of a 40 mm grenade and electronic fuse.
