New 2S22 Bohdana self-propelled howitzer with 155mm gun spotted on Ukrainian roads for the first time

The first photo of the new 2S22 Bohdana self-propelled artillery unit has appeared on social media. The Ukrainian wheeled howitzer was driving in an unknown direction. And most importantly, it was doing so on its own.

Here's What We Know

The peculiarity of the combat vehicle depicted in the photo is that we are dealing with a production artillery mount on a new chassis. The 2S22 Bohdana was tested in combat conditions at the front, after which it was improved.

Ukraine has invested in the serial production of wheeled howitzers. This was announced earlier this year by Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov. He also noted that work on the domestic combat vehicle began last spring.
