SEGA is not for sale! CEO says Japanese company wants to remain independent
It was recently revealed from an internal Microsoft document submitted in the proceedings to acquire Activision Blizzard that the US corporation was considering acquiring SEGA.
Here's What We Know
At the moment there is no talk of a merger between the Japanese and American companies - SEGA Sammy Holding CEO Shuji Utsumi said.
We are very close to Microsoft and we have a great relationship with the executive team. Microsoft appreciates us
It's worth noting that SEGA has been working with Microsoft not only on releasing games for Xbox, but also on using the cloud technology of the American corporation to create some revolutionary game, about which we don't know anything at the moment.
Note that following the publication of information that Microsoft was considering acquiring SEGA, the Japanese company's shares rose to record highs in the last 15 years.
