Metacritic has named the twenty highest-rated series of the first half of 2023. The Last of Us is in the top five
A few days ago we reported on the best games of the first half of 2023 according to Metacritic.
However, the most authoritative review aggregator didn't limit itself to video games and presented a similar selection of the highest-rated TV series for that period.
Here's What We Know
Only series with more than seven reviews from professional critics were taken into account, and their scores are listed as of June 29.
The drama Rain Dogs from HBO was voted best series, with an average score of 88 points. In second place was comedy drama Beef by Netflix, followed by comedy series produced by Prime Video I'm a Virgo.
HBO's acclaimed adaptation of the famous game The Last of Us came in fifth place.
