Ukrainian Air Force shows JDAM-ER smart bombs for the first time, to be used with MiG-29 fighters
Ukrainian aviation began using JDAM-ER smart aircraft bombs this spring. Now the AFU has shown pictures of the bombs for the first time.
Here's What We Know
The image was published by the Ukrainian Air Force in honour of the US Independence Day. Judging by the photo, the AFU is using the JDAM-ER in tandem with MiG-29 fighters. Exactly how the Ukrainian specialists managed to integrate the US bombs is not known yet.

Flashback
The JDAM-ER (Joint Direct Attack Munition - Extended Range) is a precision aerial bomb with an extended range of 72.5km. The US developed it in conjunction with the Royal Australian Air Force. Carriers of the smart bomb are US fighters and drones.
