Shazam learns to recognise music in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other apps

Apple has announced an update to the Shazam app.

Here's What We Know

The app is now able to recognise music in third-party apps. For example, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. To do this, you need to turn on Shazam, and then open the desired application and start the video with music. The Shazam app will activate the device's microphone to hear the track. After a few seconds, the song will be identified.

When We Can Expect It

The new version of Shazam is already available on the App Store.
