Blizzard has revealed details of the first seasonal update for Diablo IV.

Here's What We Know

The first season of the popular action-RPG will be titled "Season of the Malignant" and its events will unfold after the main storyline.

The main theme of the update will spread throughout the Sanctuary, which affects and disfigures all the creatures of this world. Heroes will try to stop the spread of the infection, and will help them Cormond - one of the priests of the Cathedral of Light (Cathedral of Light).

Aside from the story, players will be treated to an array of new content, including legendary items, 30 unique skills, additional bosses, and a new battle pass with valuable rewards.

When We Can Expect It

Season of the Malignant will launch in Diablo IV on July 20 on all platforms and will last for three months.
