Fighting game Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be available on Xbox consoles on 19 July

It has become known that the action fighting game Skullgirls 2nd Encore will finally appear on current-generation Xbox consoles on 19 July.

Ten years after the debut of Skullgirls, the game will be released on Xbox One and Xbox Series, after its release on Microsoft platforms was postponed indefinitely in 2019 due to "unforeseen development and production issues".

However, it seems that these "issues" have been resolved three years later, as TheGamer has noted that the game's new store page is now available on the Xbox store.

Last month, Skullgirls 2nd Encore received negative reviews on the Steam platform after an update to the 2D fighting game that removed references to real-life hate groups, reduced sexual "exploitation", and made adjustments to content that the developer now deems "inappropriate".
