Sony has unveiled BRAVIA XR A95L TVs with QD-OLED 4K UHD panels priced from $2800
Sony has new TVs equipped with QD-OLED screens in its range. The series is called BRAVIA XR A95L.
Here's What We Know
Sony is offering the TVs to customers in three sizes: 55", 65" и 77". Regardless of size, each model is equipped with a 4K ULTRA HD QD-OLED display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and support for HDR.
According to the Japanese manufacturer, the new QD-OLED panel is three times brighter compared to conventional OLED matrices thanks to support for XR OLED Contrast Pro. The image refresh rate is 120Hz.
Sony claims support for XR Triluminos Max, Dolby Vision, Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode and IMAX Enhanced. HDMI 2.1 connectors are used to connect the latest generation of gaming consoles. The Google TV operating system serves as the software platform.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sony will start taking pre-orders on 21 August 2023. The company has already announced the price of the novelties in the US and Canada:
- 55" - $2800 / CA$4000;
- 65" - $3500 / CA$5000;
- 77" - $5000 / CA$7000.
