Information about Borderlands 4 release in 2023 is not true: Gearbox developers denied rumours

Last week it was reported online that Borderlands 4 could be released as early as 2023.

It was mentioned almost simultaneously by voice actress Angie Jho Lee and Gearbox producer Nadya Danova.

It turned out that this information is not true.

Here's What We Know

Angie Jo Lee really voices one of the characters of the new project on Borderlands universe, but it is not a new part of the popular shooter, but an interactive series Borderlands EchoVision Live, on which Genvid Entertainment is working. It was announced in July at Comic-Con.

Gearbox representatives asked the actress to correct the information in her portfolio, which she did.

Nadia Danova's information was deleted by her almost immediately.

The main conclusion of this story - trust only official information!

There is no doubt that Borderlands 4 is in development, but when the game will be released - the developer does not say.
