Write your own history of the world: Microsoft has announced a turn-based strategy game from Oxide Games ARA: History Untold
During ONL, Microsoft released the first trailer for the turn-based strategy game ARA: History Untold:
Here's What We Know
The project is being developed by Oxide Games, with Microsoft as a partner. The game covers the entire path of human development, allowing players to build and develop their own civilisations, rewriting history to their liking.
From the published trailer, we can get a first impression of the game, where players start with humble tribes and gradually rise to the heights of social leaders, provoking wars, colonising new territories and building unique cities. From the Eiffel Tower to the pyramids, the game has no limits, emphasising its originality.
One of the key features of Ara: History Untold is the ability to interact with historical figures such as the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, the Greek poet Sappho, and George Washington, the founding father of the United States. The actions and choices of each nation interact in parallel, adding tension and surprise to the turn-based gameplay. The fate of your civilisation will depend on your decisions and ability to anticipate the steps of your opponents, testing your leadership skills.
The exact release date and platforms are not yet available, but we know that the project will be released next year and will be available on Game Pass, so we can assume that the game will be available on PC and Xbox.
