Guerrilla Games and Steamforged Games are working on the board game Horizon Forbidden West: Seeds of Rebellion, the events of which are canonical

Zero Dawn, the first game in the Horizon series, was released in 2017 exclusively for PlayStation 4. It was a new IP game from Sony developed by Guerrilla Games. Guerrilla continues to cooperate with board game developers Steamforged Games. Previously, they created the board game Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game. Now they are working on a new game called Horizon Forbidden West: Seeds of Rebellion. The plot of this game is canonical and tells the story of the Forbidden West before the arrival of Eloy.

This game will be co-operative and designed for 1-4 players. The story will tell of the preparations for an uprising that threatens to destroy the peace agreements between the three clans of Tenact. Players will have to fight this threat before unnecessary blood is shed and the fate of the clan lands changes for generations to come. Throughout the game, you will receive powerful equipment and complete quests, encountering deadly machines that are constantly evolving.

Players will also have to make several important decisions that will shape quests and may affect the mechanics of the gameplay. In addition, owners of Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game will be able to use the game's figures in Seeds of Rebellion.

When We Can Expect It

On November 21, Seeds of Rebellion will launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds. The developers are also planning to publish blogs to tell more about Seeds of Rebellion.
