Nokia 6.1 smartphone: an international version of the midrange with 3 GB of RAM
In the results of Geekbench often flash unannounced Nokia smartphones. The modification of Nokia 6 of the second generation for the world market, which already appeared on the website of the American FCC regulator, was no exception.
What is known?
Both sources agreed on the name of the device - Nokia 6.1. Usually the updated model is referred to as Nokia 6 (2018), but this is not an official name. In China, the device was introduced as "Nokia 6 second generation", and if the original designation increased by only three characters, then translation into other languages may be options. To not be like Huawei, in which one smartphone can be sold under four different names, out of two evils chose the third.
As in the case of the first generation Nokia 6, the international version will receive 3 GB of RAM versus 4 GB for the model for the Chinese market. Other characteristics of Nokia 6.1 are likely to remain unchanged: 5.5-inch Full HD-display, eight-core Snapdragon 630 processor, a basic 16-megapixel camera, 8-megapixel front module and 3000 mAh battery. The fingerprint scanner moved to the back of the metal casing.
When the announcement?
HMD Global has scheduled a press conference at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. The novelties of the Finnish brand will be presented on 25 February. Among them may be the flagship of Nokia 9 or an improved version of the current model - Nokia 8 Sirocco .
