The creators of The Witcher: Path of Destiny card game have raised more than $2 million, although they asked for $75,000 to create the game. Players are promised additional content and bonuses
In September, CD Projekt RED studio together with Go On Board presented The Witcher Path of Destiny board card game, and soon the fundraising for its creation started.
Here's What We Know
The developers set a goal: to raise $75,000 thousand dollars, but The Witcher fans were so imbued with the idea of the game that they raised more than $2.2 million in just six days, and there are still 13 days of campaign ahead. And $75,000 was raised in just 4 minutes!
The creators of the game promise to implement much more ideas than originally planned, so the game will have additional maps, characters, miniatures and much more.
Let us remind you that in The Witcher Path of Destiny you are offered to take the role of one of the iconic characters of the universe and go through the main events of its history from a new angle.
One game session lasts from 45 to 90 minutes, and from one to five people can take part in the party.
The Witcher Path of Destiny will come with maps, miniatures, a rulebook, a shared playing field and individual tables. The game will be available in five languages: Polish, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
