Motorola has unveiled a flexible smartphone bracelet that can be worn on the wrist instead of a watch
At the Global Tech World event hosted by Lenovo, Motorola unveiled a concept smartphone with a truly flexible display.
Here's What We Know
Unfortunately, the company did not disclose details about the gadget, but showed in a video how it works. The smartphone features a 6.9-inch pOLED display with FHD+ resolution. It is capable of bending and giving the device different shapes.
For example, one part of the smartphone can be used as a screen, the second - as a stand. But perhaps the most interesting option is to put the smartphone on your wrist instead of a watch. In the video you can see a metal bracelet - apparently, the body of the gadget is attached to it with the help of magnets. It seems that there are also straps of fabric - all of them are necessary for the device to be held on the hand and not fall off. Of course, this is hardly convenient, since the smartphone is quite dimensional. But, nevertheless, it looks interesting.
Whether such a folding smartphone will go on sale or will remain a concept - is still unknown.
In addition, Motorola demonstrated some generative artificial intelligence features that take advantage of the flexible smartphone. For example, MotoAI allows you to personalise your wallpaper and theme: you can take a photo of your clothes and then get AI-generated images that can be set as wallpaper.
