It's official: ASUS ROG Phone 8 gaming smartphone line-up will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip

ASUS has officially confirmed that it is preparing to release smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor on board.

We are talking about the gaming line of devices ASUS ROG Phone 8. The release of new products should take place in the first half of 2024.

Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 a week ago. The chip is built on TSMC's 4-nanometre process. The SoC has 1 Cortex X4 core with a maximum frequency of 3.3GHz, three Cortex A720 cores at 3.2GHz, two Cortex A720 cores at 3.0GHz and two Cortex A520 cores at 2.3GHz, as well as an Adreno 750 GPU. According to the manufacturer, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 boasts a 30 per cent faster CPU and 25 per cent faster GPU.
