The iPhone continued to receive calls and work fully after falling into a bonfire
We've already heard many times about how some Apple smartphones miraculously survived after being underwater for long periods of time. And now one Reddit user has shared an incredible story of a surviving but burnt iPhone.
Details
According to the owner, his iPhone accidentally fell into a fire. It was pulled out of the fire, but the case and screen were badly burned. The severity of the damage can be assessed by the photo that the user posted.
But despite contact with fire, high temperature and severe damage, the gadget continued to work. Already a few minutes after he had been in the fire, the smartphone was receiving calls and, in general, fully functional.
My iPhone was a champ!!! I was receiving calls minutes after this and it still worked. Also could not charge it and it kept going like the energizer bunny long enough until I could get it backed up and transferred to a new phone the next morning""
Unfortunately, he did not specify the specific model of his device. But judging by the cutout and the case with MagSafe, it's a smartphone no older than the iPhone 12, but not from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 Pro lines.
