Ukraine has purchased more than 2,000 drones for the Armed Forces as part of the Army of Drones project.
Here's What We Know
According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, the batch included drones exclusively made in Ukraine. These are copters and aircraft-type UAVs: reconnaissance, kamikaze, reusable bombers.
The General Staff will distribute the drones received and hand them over to servicemen on the hottest parts of the front.
Fedorov emphasises that the "birds" continue to hit enemy positions and equipment and inflict colossal losses. Thus, only last week Ukrainian drones hit 39 tanks, 57 guns, 34 armoured vehicles and 307 strongholds. And that's minus millions of dollars from the Russians.
