Yakuza fans are not happy with Sega's advertising choice to promote Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Yakuza fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with Sega's advertising choice for the upcoming role-playing game Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. After Sega chose streamer xQc to broadcast the opening sequence of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, fans of the series took to social media to protest against this decision.
Here's What We Know
One of them noted that the streamer is not a fan of this type of games and has previously expressed his dislike for Yakuza games. It seems that xQc does not like the series in general, and at the recent The Game Awards 2023, he expressed doubts about whether Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is even worthy of attention. Sega may be trying to attract a new audience by inviting xQc to stream the game at an early stage, but the advertising tactic is not well received by the existing Yakuza community.
Where To Play
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
When We Can Expect It
The game is scheduled for release on 26th January 2024.
