Starward Industries studio held a presentation for investors, where the developers told about further plans to support and develop The Invincible, an adventure game based on the science fiction novel by Stanisław Lem.

Here's What We Know

The game was released in November 2023 and, to the disappointment of the developers, did not receive much popularity, although it was highly appreciated by gamers.

The studio confirmed that the financial results of The Invincible did not meet expectations, but reported that in mid-January the game finally recouped the costs of its creation. Unfortunately, the company had to lay off 15 out of 34 employees, founder and head of the studio Marek Markuszewski left his post, but he remained the largest shareholder of Starward Industries.

The developers of The Invincible are planning to release twelve major updates and add-ons during the year, which will bring a lot of new content to the game, created with players' wishes in mind.

Starward Industries plans to release a VR-version of The Invincible and is in search of specialists to realise this project.

The developers are also in talks to add The Invincible to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.

At the presentation, Starward Industries executives said that the studio has been developing an unannounced project for a year and even showed its first concept art. Several playable prototypes have already been created, the developers do not exclude the release of the game in early access and plan to introduce online elements into the new project.
