Apple: more than 1,000 apps have already been released for Vision Pro

When Vision Pro sales started, there were over 600 apps available in the App Store. Now this figure has almost doubled.

Here's What We Know

According to Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice president of marketing, developers have already released more than 1,000 apps specifically for the headset, and there are already more than 1.5 million Vision Pro-compatible apps in the App Store. And the numbers keep growing.

A huge thank you to our developers! Their hard work has already resulted in over 1,000 incredible spatial apps designed specifically for Vision Pro, along with over 1.5 million compatible apps. We're thrilled to see how they'll continue to push the boundaries for what's possible.

By the way, not all major players have released programmes for Apple's new product. For example, Netflix and Spotify have no plans to do so yet. As for Google, the company initially said it would not release YouTube for the Vision Pro, but eventually changed plans and added the development of a dedicated app to the roadmap.
