Ukrainian army tests almost 100 ground drones
Ukraine has tested combat ground drones of various types and purposes.
Here's What We Know
The latest drones were successfully tested at a military training ground. This time, they tested strike platforms, turrets, systems for mining, demining, evacuation of the wounded and delivery of ammunition.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov stressed that these technologies will become a key element of military strategy. In fact, drones will be able to reduce the risk to the lives of servicemen. He also emphasised that hundreds of new systems are planned to be introduced in the coming months, which will be procured through UNITED24.
Fedorov also believes that Ukrainian ground drones will become the next game changer in this war. After all, it is necessary to fight Russia not with symmetrical solutions, but rather with asymmetrical ones.
To date, more than 140 robotic systems have been registered, most of which have already been successfully tested and codified according to NATO standards.
