Update for Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 brings support for Samsung TVs, smart monitors and projectors

The new update for the Galaxy Watch 5 not only includes security updates for the device, but also adds important integration features. With the update, Watch 5 gets the ability to display workout metrics on Samsung TVs, smart monitors and projectors released in 2024 that support Samsung Daily+.

The integration allows you to see your workout data on a larger display, which will allow you to view important health metrics like calories burned, heart rate, etc. without having to keep an eye on your smart watch.

The same update was recently released for the Galaxy Watch 6. It is now available for the Galaxy Watch 5, and later the Watch 5 Pro version will also get similar features.

You can install the new firmware version from the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone. To do so, go to "Watch Settings" then "Watch Software Update" and "Download and Install".
