The AFU uses French AASM Hammer aerial bombs with MiG-29 fighters
France recently handed over the first batch of AASM Hammer guided bombs to Ukraine. Now information has appeared on the Internet about how exactly the Ukrainian armed forces are using them at the front.
Here's What We Know
Military analyst @Osinttechnical published a photo of a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet, which is armed with AASM 250 Hammer bombs. That is, Ukraine was able to find a solution that allowed to attach French weapons to the Soviet aircraft. By the way, AASM 250 Hammer are usually launched from Mirage 2000D, Rafale, Tejas, F-16 and Mirage F1 aircraft.

The AASM Hammer is a French precision-guided aerial bomb. It is manufactured by Safran Electronics & Defence. The bomb is available in different versions. The basic version has a 250kg warhead, and the top version has a 1000kg warhead. It can fly up to 70 kilometres.
