Meta introduces feature of popular topics in Threads

Threads launches its "trending now" feature for all US users.

Here's What We Know

This innovation, launched in February, uses artificial intelligence to highlight popular topics of interest to users. Currently, there is a limit of five topics at a time.

Here's How It Works

Trending now is displayed on the Threads search page and between posts in users' feeds for you.

The feature allows users to stay up to date with news and events on the platform, regardless of Meta's goal of not encouraging news content in users' feeds.
