An impressive trailer of the ambitious MMORPG Chrono Odyssey was unveiled at GDC 2024
At the State of Unreal conference at GDC, South Korean publisher Npixel unveiled an impressive cinematic trailer of the ambitious multiplayer RPG Chrono Odyssey.
Here's What We Know
The trailer shows almost no real gameplay footage of Chrono Odyssey, so it's hard to judge the quality of the game itself, but the shown video looks extremely atmospheric and detailed.
The game is created on Unreal Engine 5, so all characters and objects in the video look high-quality and realistic.
Chrono Odyssey is a MMORPG in the dark fantasy setting, where players will be able to choose between different character classes, including warrior, wizard, archer or, for example, firearms shooter.
The game will feature a complex and challenging combat system that is reminiscent of Dark Souls and Elden Ring.
In Chrono Odyssey, players will be able to manipulate the passage of time thanks to The Chronotector, but how this will be implemented in the game and what it is for is not yet clear.
When We Can Expect It
Chrono Odyssey release date is unknown, but the game can already be added to your wishlist.
Chrono Odyssey will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
