Instagram is working on a new feature called "Blend"
Instagram announces its new Blend feature, which creates a private Reels feed recommended for you and a friend.
Here's What We Know
According to him, Blend will include Reels recommendations based on the videos you share with each other. This feature is similar to Spotify Blend, which allows you to combine two users' favourite songs into a shared playlist.
Blends will be confidential between you and your friend and can be cancelled at any time. It is not known at this time whether Blends will be updated with new recommendations on an ongoing basis.
This feature is intended to allow users to discover new Reels together.

Instagram will use the data on how users send each other Reels via private messages to recommend and display videos that both parties will enjoy.
The launch date of Blend is not yet known.
