Canari Games has announced a new 2D action adventure game - Castaway:

Here's What We Know

Castaway is inspired by classic games such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, with a pixelated style, and one of its main advantages is accessibility for all ages.

In the game, you will take on the role of Martin, whose spaceship crashed on an unknown planet. Martin's pet has become a hostage of unknown hostile creatures, so he needs to find his weapon and go to rescue his kidnapped companion.

The game features three boss battles in the story mode, as well as a survival mode that allows players to complete increasingly difficult challenges in a 50-storey tower.

Throughout their journey, players will acquire a variety of weapons, requiring them to choose the most appropriate tool for each task at hand. The options include using a hook for greater mobility, a pickaxe for formidable strength, or a regular sword to take advantage of his agility and manoeuvrability.
