Mega Crit has surprised fans by announcing Slay the Spire 2, the sequel to its popular rogue-like construction game. The game, which will be released in early access on Steam next year, will feature new and familiar classes, enemies, and bosses, all powered by the open-source Godot engine, as Mega Crit abandoned Unity due to controversy over its installation fees.
Here's What We Know
While praising Godot for its modern features and advanced modding, Mega Crit criticised Unity's policies. Despite the fact that Unity has backed down, Mega Crit still favoured Godot.
Slay the Spire 2 promises new ways of playing that are yet to be revealed, as well as extended modding capabilities.
